Wildlife on the North Kazinga plains includes elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, bushbuck, warthog and bush buck. Another common-but unexpected-sighting in this area is the immense Forest Hog, Africa’s largest pig, which is usually associated with dense forests.

The Kasenyi sector on the east side of the Kasese road is best known for the lions which prey on large population of Uganda Kob that live in this area.
