Rushaga Gorilla Camp is a haven for trekking the world famous Silverback Mountain Gorillas within the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (only 10 minutes away) a highlight for all travelers & adventurers alike, and a reason why you should visit Uganda.
The 7 Rushaga mountain gorilla families include; Mishaya, Kahungye, Nshongi, Bweza, Rwigi, Kutu, and Busingye. However, the groups in Nkuringo & Nyakagezi gates can be tracked from this location. Also at this location are the different forest walks, all with breathtaking views of the Kigezi Highlands. As well as the Batwa Cultural Experience; learn the ways of the people who lived in the forest for hundreds of years.

At Rushaga Gorilla Camp, travelers have the choice between the comfortable safaris tents (Midrange) or the more affordable cabins (Budget) for those with a small budget. The safari tents which are built on the slope below the main building, offering a great view of the forest and absolute privacy. The safari tents are furnished with wooden furniture and have private bathrooms with shower, sink, toilet and running hot and cold water. Each tent sits on a wooden raised platform with a private balcony. The cabins are basic rooms which are self-contained.
