Nyero Rock Paintings – Travel Uganda

Located in the district of Kumi, in eastern Uganda, the Nyero Rock Paintings are among the most important rock art in Uganda.

This beautiful type of rock art is bit of a homogeneous tradition often portrayed in red pigment, spreading across eastern, central and parts of southern Africa, matching the distribution of the Late Stone Age hunter-gatherer culture.
